Description

The Winfun Lil Learner Alphabet Backpack is ideal for early literacy learning. This interactive backpack helps teach toddlers letters, words, and spelling through engaging games.

Key features include:

  • Letter tiles that pop into a slot to hear letter sounds and see animations on the LCD screen
  • A magnetic drawing board with a doggy pen for practising writing and drawing
  • Handy backpack design for easy storage and take-along learning fun

Perfect for toddlers, especially during the “terrible twos,” this backpack supports their growing independence and curiosity about the world. It also promotes the development of positive social skills.

Recommended by Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide.

What our testers said

“I love the cute puppy backpack.” – Girl aged 5

“Look! It’s my name.” – Boy aged 4

What our experts think

The children all enjoyed the puppy theming of the Lil’ Learner Alphabet Backpack. Children had fun finding letters and writing/ drawing on the board, as well as interacting with the technology components of the toy. While the board was easy to use for all children, the letters were sometimes difficult for children to pull out of their puzzle location and tricky for young children to align for the interactive technology feature, causing parents to often assist their child(ren).

The Lil’ Learner Alphabet Backpack does support a range of skill development as children are able to listen, recognise, and write various letters, and then build words with the letters, while also having the opportunity to draw pictures to match the words.
