What our experts think
Who’s Hiding on the Farm? is a colourful book with lovely illustrations and lots of sensory features to engage little ones in reading. The felt flaps encourage young children to explore and make observations about what is happening in each scene in the book.
This is great for building language skills, as describing what is happening in the story is an important part of reading comprehension. Finding the different animals on each page and making the noises for each one furthers young children’s communication and language skills and we found this was particularly encouraged by having an adult read the story.
