The Twiddle is a versatile construction toy that allows children to explore their creativity, or follow the instructions to make set designs. Children loved having the freedom to make whatever they wanted, experimenting with patterns and creating props for imaginative play. Construction toys like this encourage children’s logic and problem-solving skills, in order to connect the pieces together to build a successful structure.
We also found that this was a really handy fiddle toy for calming and distracting children. One of our testers was a boy with anxiety and Autism Spectrum Disorder; he offered to present some work in class, and did so while playing with the Twiddle – the teacher was surprised by his confidence and playing with the toy clearly calmed his nerves.
