What our experts think
The Wooden Climb and Swing from the TP Active-Tots range was a huge hit with our testers. Children absolutely loved the swing and were reluctant to get out! The climbing frame was a little more challenging but perfect for the older toddlers, from around two and a half years. This means it can grow with your child, and would make a great piece of play equipment for siblings of different ages too.
The set is an excellent way to encourage young children to exercise, which can help strengthen the large muscles in their arms and legs. This is known as gross motor control and helps with things like running and learning to ride a bike. Holding onto the swing or using their hands and feet to climb also helps strengthen their small muscles, known as fine motor control, which are needed for skills like handwriting and self-care.
