What our testers said
“I like singing in this.” – Girl aged 7
“See I can make it sound cool.” – Boy aged 6
What our experts think
The easy to use Talking Tins help children to build confidence in their speech, phonics and spelling. Our testers enjoyed recording themselves and using the playback button to remember their sentences in an English lesson. It was especially useful for those children who struggle with spelling as they could keep listening back.
We really liked the long recording length, this helped one of our testers who had difficulty with his speech to process words in his own time. We did find the sound level a little low at times for a whole class to hear but on the other hand, this actually worked well if there were multiple Talking Tins being used at once in a group setting.
