The super soft to touch, non-staining sand is lightweight but buildable, encouraging children to use the moulds provided to create detailed structures or go freestyle with their own designs.
Includes 400g white sand, 2 half cylindrical moulds, cube, cone, 2 half spherical moulds and a play tray.

What our experts think
Super Sand provides lots of opportunities for creative and tactile play, while helping children to form and identify different shapes. The sand is soft to the touch and easily sculpt-able, meaning little ones can develop the strength and coordination of the muscles in their fingers and hands. Tactile exploration allows children to express themselves creatively, which is great for their language and communication skills.
Filling the different moulds also helps the development of visual thinking, as children learn about moving a material from one container to another and start to understand the dimensions of 3D shapes. The sand tray is quite compact, so we found adding a larger tray or mat underneath to be useful for minimising mess, especially for enthusiastic players!
