What our experts think
Our testers were excited and energised when they launched the helicopter for the first time and their curiosity and excitement continuously peaked with each of their redesigns and experiments. They loved watching the helicopter race around the cardboard raceway they coloured/painted and built with their parents. Watching it “fly” around “their city” was exciting for them. The learning guide was a hit with both children and parents as they moved through the engineering challenges and “knowledge pit stops”. These activities encouraged them to explore their own ideas even further.
Both children and adults enjoy colouring in the images on the original track and putting their own creative spin on their set was a draw. It also sparked further discussion about recycling and uses of cardboard. With help from an adult, assembling the track and using the finished product was very satisfying and our testers were then eager to experiment further. The speed of the helicopter and the visually impactful and dynamic accessories were favourites among those observed. The Vtech Turbo Edge Riders™ Stunt Flight Track Set is fun for the whole family. Using this set facilitated purposeful discussion and learning opportunities regarding engineering and physics.
