All aboard! Next stop – the station of learning and fun with the simplistic, yet skill-filled Melissa & Doug Stacking Train. Testers were excited to let their imaginations soar and take their trains on adventures using the provided wooden blocks combined with their own toys and accessories. The brightly coloured and larger sized blocks and pegs allowed for independent exploration from our youngest testers, while the differing shapes and designs attracted and encouraged more experienced builders to challenge themselves with more complex builds. While engaged with the Stacking Train set, children strengthen their fine motor and visual spatial skills while also fostering their creative thinking through imaginative play. Children can play solo, with a friend, and/or in small groups supporting cooperative play. This toy is ideal for the home and preschool settings.
