Squaregles Warmup Set encourages children to experiment creatively with 3D panels and magnetic shapes. The opportunity to design and build models however they like allows children to combine creativity with construction and problem-solving. Engaging in the whole process from design to build allows them to develop important STEM skills such as visual planning, logical thinking, and perseverance.
It is easy to combine other play sets to extend play and opportunities for building creatively. Children also enjoy engaging in post-build imaginative play with the included Oggs figurines which allows them to develop their language and storytelling skills. While younger children need some adult support to execute more complex designs, as they played repeatedly they were able to become more independent in their builds.
