The collectable Smiley Halves are a great fidget toy that help to develop dexterity and control in the fingers and hands. There was lots of excitement around the mystery bags as the children were intrigued to know what smileys they would get.
They really enjoyed repeatedly pulling the sides apart and re-attaching them as well as swapping to see what faces they could make. The children also enjoyed pulling different faces, trying to be the same as the different smileys.
As well as being great fun, this is actually also a great way of developing their emotional intelligence, by teaching them to recognise different emotions and corresponding facial expressions.
