What our testers said

“My child was able to independently engage with the book, like it actually kept her actively engaged for around 45 minutes.” – Parent
What our expert thinks
As the children read and interacted with Alexa while reading Owl & Dragon: A Magical Adventure, they thoroughly enjoyed talking to the “book” and having the “book” talk back. When the story was ready by siblings, children had to set strict rules about whose turn it was to answer and choose items because the engagement was very enticing. All children (ages 4-10) immediately repeated the book a minimum of a second time after the first read, which highlights how easy the interaction is for them to use and how fun they find the story and games.
Owl & Dragon: A Magical Adventure builds on children’s skill development as their comprehension, oral language, and literacy skills are supported throughout the reading process. Furthermore, the book includes many additional skills for children to naturally build upon as they learn about animal sounds, the sun’s rotation, match colours, and so forth. The book is inviting and inclusive for children, even a child with a speech impediment continued to engage and actually slowed down her speech to better engage with the book (Alexa.)
