The PYXEL™ coding pet is a fantastic hands-on introduction to child friendly coding. Our testers loved all the different tricks they could make their pet do, from changing colours to making sounds and even going to the toilet. The simple Blockley coding language was perfect for the younger testers while our older testers enjoyed the challenge of using the text based coding language of Python. They said the code activator remote was a cool gadget as they could programme the pet from their bedrooms and load the code onto the remote so it was ready when they wanted to demonstrate the actions to their families. The PYXEL™ coding pet is an ideal educational gift for boys and girls aged 8 and up and helps children develop early coding education, improving logical reasoning, promoting analytical thinking and encouraging digital literacy.
