What our experts think

Popped! is a fast-paced, high risk game of risk and reward that teaches children the essential skills for reading, such as phonics, spelling and fluency. Our testers engaged well with this game. We had some children with dyslexia testing the game and their parent’s said they really enjoyed it and thought that the game had some really good benefits. They said 10 minutes at a time for a child who struggles with reading worked well and wasn’t too intense for them.

The testers started with the easiest level of cards and were able to quickly move onto the next level which they delighted in and gained a real sense of achievement. This game develops early reading skills, promotes turn taking and encourages children to follow instructions.
