Out little testers loved pretending to be police people as they rushed to an emergency on their police bike. It is great for promoting imaginative play and the children enjoyed role playing different scenarios, which benefits their personal, social and emotional development.
The police theme also gives children the opportunity to practise their speaking skills, develop their vocabulary and increase their understanding of the community in which they live as they take on the role of the local PC! Ride-ons are good for developing core stability, balance and for strengthening muscles. The children needed to be able to sit on the bike and balance before they propelled themselves forward – it was helpful that the bike was sturdy and easy to manoeuvre. We like how this toy promotes physical activity and encourages children to get active and move around.
