These PODS offer an enjoyable, calming experience to all children but are an absolute game changer for regulating the emotions of children with additional needs such as Autism or ADHD. A large multi sensory pop up tent that comes in a variety of themes with remote control sensory lighting and a Bluetooth speaker to play the inclusive immersive app which provides music and audio books to suit each theme. An outstanding addition to any playroom, nursery or school setting.
Our testers said that the children who tested the pod were immediately engaged. They liked to sit inside the pod in groups looking at books and listening to the supplied music. In the animal themed tent the children liked to lay listening to the animal sounds on the app and matching the sounds to the animal graphics around the pod. A child with additional needs was able to use the tent when feeling frustrated. They lay on the soft flooring in the tent and were quickly soothed by the music, allowing them to regulate their emotions independently. Another child upset with anxiety, found comfort from being zipped into the tent, curled up in a blanket and listening to the supplied audio book. These PODS provide a space for comfort and calm, assisting in reducing stress. They support emotional well-being and self regulation. The PODS also encourage imaginative play with the themed tent covers and immersive stories supplied on the app.
