We found this Plus Plus kit great for encouraging imaginative construction play, which benefits creativity and logical reasoning. It really engaged our older testers, who were able to follow the instructions to make the specific creations. While our younger testers weren’t able to follow the instructions, it was fantastic seeing them use their imaginations to build with the pieces freely, which improves dexterity and helps their pincer grip. The children weren’t able to make everything in the booklet, as all of the colours featured weren’t available in the box, so perhaps further sets would be required to make some of these. However, it was great to see not only basic coloured pieces but fun, neon colours too. We liked that the set can equally be enjoyed and played with cooperatively or by one child – it was great to see our testers working together to make their different constructions.
