Our little testers were immediately drawn to this fun and engaging tablet which featured the much loved Peppa Pig. It was intuitive to use and the children worked to how to turn it on for themselves, although needed a bit of help with how to play the games. They especially enjoyed the colours and numbers activities, which promote important skills in colour and shape recognition, as well as early number recognition, ideal for building skills for pre-school learning.
The children enjoyed responding to what was said and pressing the buttons. While our younger testers enjoyed listening and responding to Peppa (encouraging listening and attention skills, important for classroom learning), the older ones were more selective and demonstrated their knowledge through their responses (encouraging logic and problem solving skills). The fact that the tablet is easily portable is ideal, one of our testers commented on how good it was for the car, although the volume could be slightly lower as it can be annoying for adults! We are also not sure how robust it is as one of our testers commented on how the rubber had started to come away from the edges.
