“This can be set up in different ways. It’s really good.” – Boy, aged 5
What our experts think
Our testers loved that the game was ‘life-sized’ and they could set it up on the floor themselves, in different configurations each time. The hands-on aspect really encouraged children to share their experiences and preferences, helping them to get to know each other better. The range of questions and activities meant they had to think quickly, sometimes giving answers, sometimes doing actions. The physical nature of the game kept children interested, especially those who wouldn’t usually sit down to play a traditional board game at a table. Even children who are usually shy or hesitant wanted to join in.
There were easy and challenging questions, with creative tasks like “Make up a new word and its meaning” being a favourite. And fun activities like “Have a crab walk race” kept things lively. While some questions helped the children to think positively about themselves. The game clearly boosted players’ confidence and creativity, making it enjoyable for everyone.
