A wonderful tea set for any Paddington fan all thoughtfully packed inside its own suitcase, along with a cuddly plush version of the bear himself. Our testers engaged with this product right away and couldn’t wait to start setting up their tea party with Paddington. They carefully laid everything out before pretending to pour the tea into the cups, adding sugar and milk where it was required. Some of our testers went and got some play food and added this to the set up creating a picnic. This sparked a conversation between testers young and old about what Paddington likes in his sandwiches, what they like and whether their choices were healthy or not. The children really liked the sheet of stickers supplied with the tea set and enjoyed personalising the suitcase with them. Once tea time was over the children used the suitcase to carry other favourite toys around with them. Paddington’s tea set encourages imaginative play, promotes sharing and turn taking and develops social interaction and conversation between children and their peers.
