What our expert thinks
The Caped Crusader races against the Red Robin in this versatile track complete with stunt ramp. A lovely way to introduce car racing to young children and encourage healthy competition. Our testers were overcome with excitement when racing the cars against each other and were quickly able to control the cars so they stayed on the track, navigating bends and adjusting speed accordingly.
The track was easy to assemble with the help of an adult. Some of the testers created a story around the racing, role playing baddie versus goodie and trying to get away. The Scalextric develops hand eye coordination, promotes healthy competition and introduces the concept of acceleration and speed.
