Once you have pieced together the 16 piece puzzle, discuss and look at the objects in the puzzle’s border. Can your child find them in the main picture? Inspiration for further discussion points are found on the reverse of the pack.

What our experts think
Jigsaws like this are a great way to introduce children to logical thinking and strategy, as they challenge them to find a process to fit the puzzle together. The children did this by finding all of the edge pieces first and then matching up the rest of the pieces using shape and colour matching skills.
The scenes on the floor puzzle encouraged lots of discussions and also the opportunity to build their observation skills – the children enjoyed identifying different objects and talking about what they would take with them to a tea party.
