What our experts think
With adjustable handlebars, it was easy to set the right height for our different testers – a great feature for a family with more than one child as it means multiple children can ride it (if they’re willing to share!). The scooter stays upright on its own due to the three wheels and feels sturdy. The children had a great time zooming around and some commented on how easy it was to change direction and dodge obstacles – leaning from side to side instead of turning the handlebars seemed more intuitive to them.
Some of the younger children found it tricky to get to grips with pressing down the brake over the back wheel, but once they got the hang of it they had more control and confidence. Learning to navigate their surroundings on scooters, bikes etc is a great way for children to develop spatial awareness, strength, gross motor skills, and build confidence.
