What our experts think

The Magformers Transform Wheel set is great for teaching children about 2D and 3D shapes, as they learn how to use them in their construction of working models. Our testers enjoyed looking through the booklet provided and deciding on what to build but also loved using their imaginations to create their own constructions.  Our testers also enjoyed playing with the wheels, turning their car to a bike to a robot.

While a little adult help was needed initially by our younger testers with the placement of pieces, they were soon able to do it on their own and enjoyed making various 2D and 3D shapes.  Sets like this are fantastic for learning STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) as the opportunity to create imaginatively with the different pieces and magnets develops a sense of space and understanding of how things join together.
