This big and bold dumper truck has lots of scope for imaginative play. Our testers enjoyed playing with it indoors, but it also would be great for outdoor play – in the sandpit children can explore what happens when they dig, fill and tip the sand, which teaches cause and effect.
Pushing the tractor around the room really encouraged active play and the children loved this. Weaving in and out of the other children as well as moving objects to different parts of the room strengthens arm and leg muscles and loading the truck develops dexterity. The dump truck became part of the older children’s storytelling in their small world play, which is great for developing language skills.
