Description
This embroidered puppet with moving mouth makes the ideal friend and with its soft, stuffed, body it is perfect for a cuddle, but, most of all, the puppet encourages childrens imaginations ultimately improving their literacy skills. Dressed in stylish street fashion and with cheeky grins, no child (or adult) will be able to resist it. With a friendly face and huggable body this puppet is brilliant for shy children who need to build their confidence and overcome their nerves. However, it will be equally loved by chatterboxes who will relish the chance to talk with the puppet.

What our experts think
These endearing puppets were a big hit with our testers who loved their facial expressions and clothing and that you could ‘move’ their mouths and hair. They are a good size and our testers found it easy to operate the mouths. It was great to see the children develop their own plays with the puppets; this is brilliant for developing their literacy, creativity and story telling skills. As well as telling stories, the children also incorporated some songs into their play!
We felt that the puppets are a great vehicle for shy children to express themselves; some children find it easier to talk through a puppet, and they could also be used to get children to talk about tricky situations. This promotes important personal, social and emotional development, encouraging the ability to manage emotions and recognise them in others, by allowing them to role play or act out situations to make sense of them.
