The Giant Science Lab lets children take the role of a scientist, engaging and empowering them to run their own experiments and learn about scientific concepts. The instruction booklet has very clear steps and our testers found this great for supporting home Science learning – it was ideal for encouraging children to think about how they record and present their findings.
The lab coat and goggles were a great feature and these were worn immediately. This role-play aspect is great for building children’s confidence and leadership skills as they take the responsibility of running the experiment. It was also lovely to see the experiments (for example with magnets) spark off other ideas and further questions.
