What our testers said
“They are bright and colourful for little ones.” – Dad of a 12 month old
“It’s good to see such a young baby notice sounds.” – Mum of a 4 week old
What our experts think
The children were drawn to the bright colours and liked exploring the different textures and sounds, which focuses eyes and provides multi-sensory stimulation. As baby reaches for their feet, waves their hands and kicks, they develop hand-eye coordination and strengthen important muscles to prepare for grasping, crawling and ultimately walking. It is great to have a toy that encourages children to move and this certainly does that!
This toy also promotes cause and effect learning, i.e. when I shake my wrist, the rattle sounds. However, some of our youngest testers were unaware of where the sounds were coming from yet, but enjoyed hearing them! Parents of our testers thought they would be a particularly useful addition to nappy changing time.
