What our experts think
The Tadpole Mini balance bike is great for helping children to develop their confidence and strengthen their big muscles as they learn the skill of riding a bike. Our testers found the bike easy to assemble and very sturdy once built and we liked that the seat was able to be adjusted to the correct height for each child. The chunky tyres make the bike very stable for mounting and dismounting which is ideal for a child’s first bike, as it allows their confidence and balance to build without worrying about toppling over. The children also found the bike easy to steer – learning to turn it is fantastic for their spatial awareness. Our testers enjoyed taking it in turns to ride and watch each other which generated a lot of discussion!
