What our experts think
An interactive but sturdy book which engages children’s natural curiosity, encouraging them to follow instructions, pulling, turning and pushing the tabs. This helps to develop hand-eye coordination and dexterity in the important muscles in their hands and fingers.
As an adult reads the story, little ones are developing their language and literacy skills, through listening to word sounds and sentence structure. We particularly like that throughout the story, children are encouraged to copy and repeat the phrases and actions of the frog as at this age, imitation is a big part of how children develop their social learning, speech and memory.
