Description
Have fun colour matching with this Early Learning Centre Tea Set – perfect for budding little hosts and hostesses.
Set up the ultimate afternoon tea and invite your friends and family over to enjoy it. We can set the table and match the different coloured cups, saucers and spoons. Let’s stir the tea in the pot and pour into the cups, add the milk and then stir. Teddy likes a red cup and saucer and stirring his tea with a red a spoon.
This tea set for four is great for tea parties with friends and helps develop social skills as we play. Making up fun adventures and stories inspires the imagination.
What our testers said
“I like red. Which colour spoon would you like?” – Girl aged 4
“I pour water in here.” – Girl aged 3
What our experts think
A durable role-play prop that our testers were eager to play with. The bright, attractive colours were a big draw for the children, who enjoyed matching the same coloured cups, saucers and spoons. The set is great for encouraging children to practise their fine motor skills, by stirring with the little spoons and working out how to fit the lids on the teapot and sugar bowl. Tea sets are great for social interaction, inspiring lots of conversations which gave our testers the opportunity to develop their communication skills – as they asked each other what they would like to drink, what colour spoon or plate they would like etc. A great resource for imaginative play and easy to clean, which is a huge plus after all those sips taken from cups, and spoons put in mouths!
