This vibrant duck bath toy delighted our little testers! They loved opening Mother Duck and placing the ducklings inside – it adds another dimension to the traditional bath time ducks. The ducks floated well and the children liked pushing them across the bath – through this kind of play children are exploring the physics of floating and sinking… great for fostering curiosity in preparation for pre-school and also learning basic cause and effect.
Our older testers made up stories for the ducks and sang rhymes about ducks as they played, making it a great toy for both imaginative play, storytelling and language development. The bright colours aid colour recognition and our parents liked how they were gender neutral. The toy could also be used to promote counting skills while in the bath, as little ones could count the ducklings in and out.
