These walkie talkies are great for encouraging children to engage in active and imaginative play, the superfood of the healthy play diet. There was lots of laughter as our testers put on different voices and characters, pretending they were police officers trying to catch a suspect!
As well as promoting storytelling, creative role-play also allows children to act out and make sense of different scenarios, which benefits their understanding of the world around them. Speaking through different objects and characters can also help children with low confidence to communicate – one of our testers was able to talk freely through the walkie talkie without feeling anxious.
