Everyone’s favourite bear is back again, and this time he’s had his paws all over this iconic black taxi!
With another feature film scheduled for 2020, this little bear is proving just how timeless he is – having made his debut in 1958. This Taxi is the perfect accompaniment to the Corgi Paddington Routemaster, and even includes a resin figure of the bear himself.

The taxi with Paddington Bear figurine is great for encouraging storytelling and the familiar character really provides a springboard for children’s imaginative play. Our testers were very excited to play with it, wheeling the car around on the table and pretending to pick up Paddington on his journey, as well as incorporating other cars and play-sets.
Acting out different scenarios through imaginative play helps children to make sense of things and develops their understanding of the world around them. Combining different collectables and playsets in their imaginative play also helps to enable this and encourages vocabulary building. One child added the taxi to her dolls house, taking Paddington to tea with the other dolls and another even raced the taxi against their other cars to see who was fastest!
