Description

The Connetix 24-piece Rainbow Motion Pack features two car bases with real rubber wheels, as well as a variety of rainbow-coloured geometric shaped tiles. Children can bring their own creations to life, by replicating vehicles they know or by creating something completely new. The Motion Pack provides the perfect foundation for STEAM learning, with concepts of balance, gravity and motion a highlight as children create and experiment with vehicle designs.

The possibilities of play are unlimited due to the open-ended nature of Connetix, inviting children to unleash their imagination and creativity while learning through play. Adaptable to the different stages of childhood and learning, children of all ages can explore concepts of STEAM learning, whether individually or with friends and family.

The Rainbow Motion Pack is compatible with the entire Connetix range, allowing for collections and learning to expand as children play and develop.

What our testers said

“It’s hard to find a toy that different age groups can play with together.” – Parent of 7-year-old boy

“The quality of the magnets is really good so children don’t destroy their creations by accident!” – Parent of 4-year-old boy

What our experts think

The Connetix 24pc Rainbow Motion Pack provided highly engaging and enjoyable play for a variety of children of different ages. Throughout the observation, the children did not stop playing with the tiles. They sparked lots of imagination in the children, creating lots of different ideas and constructions. For example creating a farm and tractor or a garage and train. It was lovely to see how the children developed on this imaginative construction play by also incorporating other toys, such as animals to be part of the farm. Testers praised how the robust magnets encouraged multiple children to use the pack as a transporter for their other toys. One observation saw a child pretend a lego character was driving while picking up cars and lego bricks moving around the room. A strongly noticeable benefit of the pack was how the children played together with other children of different ages. Four children aged, 4, 7, 8 and 11 all enjoyed playing with the pack together.
