The Code & Go™ Robot Mouse Activity Set provides young learners with a fun, real-world application of STEM skills. Children programme the sequence of steps on a maze board or on the floor, and then watch Colby the mouse race to find the cheese!
Large, colourful buttons make programming simple for children, plus light and sound features make coding interactive for all learners. The activity set includes 16 maze grids to create a maze board, 22 maze walls and three tunnels plus 30 double sided coding cards, 10 double sided activity cards and a cheese wedge.

What our experts think
The Code & Go Robot Mouse is a lovely way to teach children basic coding skills, presented in a way that can appeal to children who are less keen on computing and programming. Children are able to create step-by-step instructions to get the mouse to the cheese; they can immediately see the effects of their code sequence and so learn through trial and error. This also develops their logical thinking and problem solving skills.
Our testers were immediately drawn to the robot mouse and just loved controlling it. They also enjoyed building the mazes from the cards as well as designing their own. We like that the cards are multi-level, which caters to different abilities and encourages children to progress their skills.
