Our testers were excited to play with the truck and transform it into Optimus Prime. Children between the ages of 3-to-5-years old were most interested in the engineering and tool use after studying the images on the packaging. Toddlers did like playing with the truck or character figure and for them, this toy “grows” with them. As they develop the skills to learn to transform them independently it takes on a whole new level of entertainment. The 3-to-5-year olds were thrilled when they became faster and faster at transforming the vehicle to the character and vice versa while in the throws of their action packed pretend play scenarios.
