Description
From happy to sad, silly to serious, this pineapple feels a lot of feelings!
Use the 26 different pieces to build expressions on the Big Feelings Pineapple™ and help preschool children learn about how emotions and facial expressions show what people are feeling.
The Big Feelings Pineapple™, from Learning Resources comes with a full-colour guide that includes suggested faces and feelings to make designing social-emotional activities for preschoolers that much easier. Thanks to its two-sided design, this preschool toy can even help kids learn opposites by comparing and contrasting two faces at once.
When playtime is done for the day, kids can simply pop the top off of the Big Feelings Pineapple™ and store the pieces inside. The 30-piece set includes pineapple, changeable mouths, eyes, eyebrows and hands, and a guide with tips for introducing social emotional learning.

What our experts think
The Big Feelings Pineapple™ is a great resource for encouraging children to visualise and verbalise different emotions. It generates lots of discussion about what different facial expressions mean and how they represent what someone is feeling.
Teaching children to communicate and recognise different emotions in others not only helps them to develop empathy, but it also teaches them to recognise these same feelings in themselves. This helps to build their emotional intelligence and resilience for the future. Our testers particularly liked that the pineapple is double sided, as this helps to explain opposing feelings.
