What our experts think
The Aquabeads Beginners Carry Case really got our testers creative juices flowing! Some of them got to work immediately on their own creations without having to read the instructions. Other children found the pictures that come with the case helpful in the sense that they had something to follow. The instructions were easy to follow and also allowed our testers to develop their numeracy skills, as they counted out the number of beads they needed for each design idea.
The set also promoted teamwork and communication, as some of the children decided to share their ideas and finish their designs together. Placing the small beads on the design pegs required concentration, perseverance and good hand-eye coordination as their fingers had to make precise movements.
Our testers were engaged throughout the process, enjoying each stage, especially when it was time to spray their finished designs with water to begin the setting process. The children couldn’t wait for them to dry so they could show off the finished products!
