These soft toys proved a big hit with our testers who loved carrying them around and cuddling them! They are the perfect size for young children and one of our testers loved their donkey so much, that it made best friends with their comfort toy – it went everywhere with them. Soft toys can provide a sense of comfort and security which benefits children’s personal, social and emotional development and teaches them about caregiving and healthy attachment.
As well as being a cuddly toy, the children liked incorporating them into their role play. This kind of imaginative play is great as it not only promotes creativity and storytelling, but also allows children to act out and make sense of different scenarios, helping them with their understanding of the world. We really liked the way in which the toys had facts about the animal: this was good for teaching the children about farm animals and stimulating their natural inquisitiveness to find out more.
